  5. This one baffles even the most intelligent
  6. observers and can convince some of the most
  7. ordinarily intelligent people that you
  8. have special powers.  It is rendered
  9. even more effective in that several
  10. people can be involved, fueling each
  11. others wonder.  It can even be repeated
  12. just to prove that it wasn't luck.
  13. Here's what you do:

  15. Give someone a coin or key (anything
  16. that will fit into an enclosed hand will
  17. do).  Appoint this person to monitor and
  18. see that your instructions are carried
  19. out.  If anyone objects or says that you
  20. might be using a confederate simply
  21. appoint them as your monitor.

  23. When your back is turned, one person is
  24. to take the coin into their hand and
  25. hold it to their head while they
  26. concentrate on it and send out the right
  27. "vibes." They are then to all hold their
  28. hands out or place them on a table or
  29. whatever.  Moving from hand to hand, You
  30. inevitably pick out the hand that has
  31. the coin.

  33. The secret is simple: The hand that held
  34. the coin raised to the head will be
  35. whiter than the other and any veins that
  36. are visible on their opposite hand will
  37. be less visible on the hand that was
  38. raised.  Simply look for the hand that
  39. doesn't match it's mate.  Wow, you're a
  40. telepath!
